One of the story weakpoints, and what RLM mocked in their legendary reviews, was "Palptine was behind it all" repeating all the time, and hinting, that his "mind trick" had literally no teritorial range, as he could influence people light years away. Which is silly AF explanation why people are acting dumb, BUT on the other hand WHO WAS LITERALLY THERE? Where all major decisions were made? Darth Darth Binks. What is more beliveable, that Palptine has God-level powers with unlimited range, or that Jar Jar was the one emitting the "stupidity cloud", and influence people nearby? Even the freaking Gungans are afraid of him, which show that he did some shady, or unexplained stuff during his stay with them. And you know who is also from Naboo? Yup, your boi Palptine, which also increases the possibility of them having some sort of a bond. Also, he is CGI, that stuff is expensive and planned. Why TF add the hand motions and mumbling words if there was no plan to use them in the story? That costed money, and while Disney is spending money like a drunken sailor, Lucas, when it was his company, kept budgets in line for the new trilogy. So he would not spend extra thousands of dollars to animate stuff that is irrelevant.

When i play blade and Sorcery with the outer rim mod- i ALWAYS have a Qui-Gon Jinn hilted lightsaber on me, with either a purple (what almost all saber color tests say i should have) or my favorite color, the classic light blue- with the unstable effects and sound. I love that design and the only one i like more is Stellan Gios' lightsaber with the same unstable bright blue blade.. I also am fond of Obiwan's original saber hilt, with traditional green or an unstable deep yellow (the other color im often given).

Actually the rule of two encourages the spread of information, rather than hoarding information like other types of rule.

He would have revealed to the major characters that he was a sith during Order 66, only to attempt to kill Sidious, perhaps during the battle between Yoda and Sidious in the senate room.
